Auto Locksmith Pendleton OR
Fast, mobile auto locksmith service across Pendleton and Umatilla County, day or night.
Call 541-581-4403We are a mobile auto locksmith. We drive to the car and deal with it there, a store parking lot, a driveway, a workplace lot, and open the door, cut a key, or clear a jammed ignition without a tow.
The vans carry the cutting machines, transponder stock and programming tools to finish most automotive jobs in a single visit. Lockouts open with air wedges and long-reach tools, not a slim jim that bends the door frame, so there is nothing to repair afterward.
What our auto locksmith service covers
- Car, truck and SUV lockouts, opened without damage in the great majority of cases
- Broken key extraction from ignitions, door locks and trunk locks
- Transponder and chip keys cut and programmed on site
- Push-to-start and proximity (smart) fobs replaced and paired to the vehicle
- Keyless entry remotes and remote-head flip keys
- Worn ignition cylinders that grab, stick or will not turn
- All-keys-lost situations, cut to code or by reading the lock
- Spare keys so a second driver stops borrowing the only one
How an on-site car key job works
We identify the key. Year, make, model and VIN tell us the blade type and the transponder or fob the vehicle expects.
We cut it. Either to the manufacturer's code or by reading the door lock or ignition directly with our equipment.
We program it. The new key or fob is paired to the car's immobiliser so it starts, and for fobs, so it locks and unlocks. Then we test every function before we leave.
Signs it is time to call an auto locksmith
A key that has to be jiggled or held at an angle to start the car is a cylinder or a worn key on the way out, easier to fix before it strands you.
A fob that only works from a few inches away usually needs a battery, but if a new battery does not help, the fob or its programming is failing.
One working key and no spare is a bad position to be in. Cutting a spare now is far quicker and cheaper than an all-keys-lost call from a parking lot later.

Call 541-581-4403Auto Locksmith FAQ
Can you get into my car without a key?
Yes. We use air wedges and long-reach tools, and in almost every case there is no damage to the door or the lock afterward.
My key snapped off in the ignition. Can you help?
Yes. We pull the broken piece out of the ignition or door lock and cut a working key on the spot.
Do you work on newer push-to-start vehicles?
Yes. We program proximity and smart fobs for most makes. Some 2018-and-newer models take longer and need the vehicle present, which we tell you when you call.
Do you need proof the car is mine?
Yes. Before we open a vehicle or cut a key we check photo ID and registration or another ownership document. It protects you as much as us.
How long does it take?
A car lockout is usually quick once the technician arrives. Cutting and programming a key takes longer, but it is still done on site in the one visit.
Which makes do you work on?
Most makes on the road today, including Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Ford, Chevrolet, Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, Jeep and Mazda. Give us the year and model when you call and we will confirm.
